Chocolate covered buttercream cherries

January 30, 2012

Ah, Valentine’s Day.

Okay, technically, yes, it’s a bit of a corporate greeting card holiday.

But, hey, any excuse to be romantic, right?

Last V-day, I presented you with the lover’s lasagna.

Because nothing says “I love you,” like two pounds of cheese.¬† Read the rest of this entry »

Thanksgiving recap

November 27, 2011

By this point, I hope everyone is over that terrible (but worth it) way-too-full feeling.

I know that I skipped out on my mamaw’s chocolate eclair by the end of of it, and that’s saying something.

(Did anyone else watch “The Red Balloon” in film criticism class? No, just me?) Read the rest of this entry »

On this, the week and a half of my birth …

August 14, 2011

It’s really your fault that I’m such a brat about birthdays.

No, really.

Keep showering me with love and affection each year and that’s what I’ll expect.

One and a half week’s worth to be exact.

Seriously though, my 28th 24th birthday was record-setting in terms of princess-style treatment.

I had a steady stream of cards, phone calls, texts, and Facebook shout-outs all. week. long.

Thank you for the gorgeous cards!
